All full-time Ficel drivers operate company-owned equipment. Our tractors of choice are the Kenworth T-880 and the Kenworth T-800 (10-speeds and automatics). Our manual tractors are equipped with Eaton Fuller 10-speed transmissions. Our engines of choice are the Detroit Series 60 and Cummins ISX. Our trailer fleet consists primarily of Michigan B-Trains (short flatbed doubles) and 6-axle flatbed sled trailers. Our trailer manufacturers of choice are Titan and Reitnouer.

All equipment is maintained and serviced by a highly dependable, in-house maintenance staff made up of some of the most qualified and experienced technicians in the industry. We currently operate 3 full-time maintenance facilities, all of which are either open or on call 24 hours-a-day, 7 days per week.
